Angels And Airwaves -->
 AVA reviewed in Punkpress.onlinePosted 1/1/2007 by Suretone "The album is quite a deviation from DeLonge's or any of the band members' previous work. It brings to mind more of an 80's sound, which has proved to be timeless. The production, thanks to Delonge and ex-Nine Inch Nails bassist/A Perfect Circle guitarist Danny Lohner, gives the album a dynamic arena rock sound. Many moments are reminiscent of classic bands such as U2, The Cure, and Pink Floyd, while still maintaining DeLonge's distinguished vocals. Imagine those aforementioned bands mixed with Boxcar Racer and Blink-182's last eponymous album. While the latter seemed to have scattered sounds and influences throughout (which may have attributed to Blink's hiatus), We Don't Need To Whisper flows solidly together as one piece, making it a stronger and thus superior album in my opinion." -Alex, punkpressonline.com Digg | Del.icio.us | Facebook |
