On October 4th, 2009, Rufus will be part of a special event with Gavin Friday and Friends at Carnegie Hall in NYC. This special benefit concert is a (RED) Nights Event, with a portion of the proceeds going to help eliminate AIDS in Africa through the (RED) Foundation. Other guests include Martha Wainwright, Laurie Anderson, Antony, Bono, The Edge, Flo & Eddie, Joel Grey, Bill Frisell, Scarlett Johansson, Courtney Love, Lydia Lunch, Patrick McCabe, Shane MacGowan, Eric Mingus, Larry Mullen, Jr., Chloe Webb, and more to be announced.
