Move over Matisyahu, L.A. reggae sensation Elan is on the way!
Having toured the world for three years as the frontman for famed
Jamaican group the Wailers, the singer is now in the spotlight as a
solo artist. A pal of No Doubt, Elan’s debut will be released on the
Interscope-distributed Kingsbury Studio label run by No Doubt bassist,
Tony Kanal.
Kanal also handles some of the production duties on Together as
One, which features guests Cutty Ranks, Assassin and Tami Chynn. The
album mixes up hip-hop beats with the reggae lilt but a great deal of
the cuts are done in the classic island style first brought to
popularity by Bob Marley. Elan is just finishing up a tour opening for
