Avant will auction his customized 2004 Dodge Durango to raise funds for the construction of a new park that will benefit children in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
As part of the Dodge-sponsored “Big Sizin’, Smooth Ridin’” program, Avant received the customized 2004 Dodge Durango outfitted with B-Cool custom billet grille, Katzkin Leather Inc. custom leather interior, and Sony XPLOD Audio & Video entertainment system. Avant, who hails from Cleveland and started his career singing in his church choir, agreed to auction the car on eBay and donate the proceeds to KaBOOM!, which is an organization dedicated to fostering healthy opportunities for children to play by building safe playgrounds and encouraging the participation of their families, friends, and communities.
“This summer I got to drive around in a great set of wheels and now I’ll get to use those wheels to give back to my community,” said Avant. “Through the ‘Big Sizin’, Smooth Ridin’’ program Dodge is giving me the opportunity to make a difference by helping kids who need a safe place to play and hang out. To me, that’s priceless.”
