Keane to Release Cherrytree Sessions EP

We're pleased to announce that on May 5th, Keane will release The Cherrytree Sessions EP featuring three songs recorded live at The Cherrytree House in LA.
The three songs - intimate renditions of Somewhere Only We Know, Perfect Symmetry and The Lovers Are Losing - will be released on CD exclusively via Borders stores and across all US digital retailers. Previous Cherrytree Sessions have been recorded by Lady Gaga, Feist and Robyn.

Keane Releases “Spiralling” in the US

Keane previews their third album, Perfect Symmetry, with the release of “Spiralling,” today August 19, 2008. The song will be available at all major online retailers. The track was made available for free on the band’s website (keanemusic.com), and logged over half a million downloads in one week. “Spiralling” was the #1 most added song on UK radio for its first week of release.
Keane’s third album, Perfect Symmetry, will be released on October 14, 2008. The track listing for Perfect Symmetry has been confirmed as:

Keane have smashed Universal/Island¹s record for most downloads of a free track, with over half a million downloads of 'Spiralling' in its first week of availability, exclusively through keanemusic.com.
'Spiralling' was made available for free download from the 4th August, to celebrate the completion of their third, highly anticipated album 'Perfect Symmetry' which is released on the 13th October.
'Spiralling' was also the number 1 new single on the UK airplay charts.
The track will be available to buy through all the usual digital platforms from 11th August.
Keane’s first single proper, 'The Lovers Are Losing', will be released on 6th October.

Keane celebrate the completion of their hugely anticipated third album by giving away a new song, ‘Spiralling’, to fans for free.
The track will be made available to download for free from August 4th, for one week, from keanemusic.com. It will be available to buy from the usual download platforms from August 12th. ‘Spiralling’ is written and produced by Keane and was recorded in Berlin’s Teldex Studio earlier this year. Tom Chaplin describes ‘Spiralling as ‘“a train of thought about human endeavour, built on an outrageous groove”. Sounding unlike anything they have ever recorded before, it bears the unmistakeable confidence of a band in its prime.
Keane have released two multi-platinum albums Hopes and Fears (2004) and Under The Iron Sea (2006); both went straight to number one on release.
Keane’s third album Perfect Symmetry will be released on 13th October 2008.
