Another song that sounds like any one of a million songs before it, just a different hook,,,,never gonna get it...blah blah blah.
I mean, come on artists of the day. The same silly dance moves we have seen a billion times, the same sounding drum track....has this drum loop been used a time or two before?
Our parents really had it lucky. Groups or artists all had their own unique sound and could be identified quickly. Imagine what they must have felt when they would get a new Stevie Wonder Album like Innervisions available one week in the record store, and the next week, a new Marvin Gaye or a new Aretha Franklin or Neil Young, or a new Yes or Jethro Tull album? They had music which had a melody and not just based on a groove which has been so overwrought that I hear it in my sleep. BORING.!!!!! Yes, the girls are very pretty, have incredible bodies, and are barely dressed which is visually appealing. But, after the first 15 seconds, you are over that and now trying to see if there is something about the music which can inspire you or uplift you and the listener is left with nothingness....if that is such a word?
The ironic part of this is--- they obviously have the Geffen money machine behind them so this cd will sell billions we the listener will be stuck hearing the same crap over and over...... Artists of the day....wake up....
