As they finish up their third album- the follow up to their two-time Platinum award-winning sophomore CD, "Move Along"- and embark on a nationwide tour, it’s no secret that The All-American Rejects need to stay in tip-top shape. Long hours in the recording studio and on stage call for a fit body and plenty of energy. That’s why the members of the multi-Platinum award-winning rock band include milk in their daily diets, which along with eating right and exercise, helps them stay healthy, lean and fit.
Band members Tyson Ritter, Nick Wheeler, Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor are the latest celebrities to join the “Body By Milk” campaign, which encourages teens to drink three glasses of lowfat or fat free milk everyday, eat right and be active to stay lean and healthy. Other stars to recently sport the ‘stache include Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Hayden Panettiere and Steve Nash.
Feelin' “AAR”-tistic? The All-American Rejects are looking to Body By Milk fans to design a creative poster to announce the release of their latest album – due out in the fall. The winning design, selected by the Rejects themselves, will inspire a poster that will be displayed at concerts, music stores and schools all around the country. The winner, along with the five top designers also will receive a framed, signed poster of their artwork and a copy of AAR's latest album.
Fans just need to show The Rejects how they, too, rock out with milk – simply by adding some spice to their new Milk Mustache ad. Head to bodybymilk.com to download AAR’s new Milk Mustache ad; then, paint it, draw it, collage it ... whatever showcases their love for milk and “AARt!”

MTV recently spoke with Tyson about the new album! Excerpt below:
"I don't want to have any regrets, dude. I worry about stuff like, 'Is this song the best thing we've ever done?' " he laughed. "There have been points where we've had a bunch of good songs, but good doesn't make the cut for this record. I find myself going, 'Sh--, if this isn't a good song, I'm gonna kill myself.' "
So planning stuff six months in advance can be tough, and can come back to bite ya in the ass sometimes, and unfortunately we've walked into just a situation... We're still working really diligently on the new record, and its coming along, but we're in a spot where we just can't break away from it right now, which means we gotta cancel some shows. It was a really tough decision, but it came down to potentially having to push the record back til next year, and i don't know about you guys, but we just can't wait that long. So we're bummed to say it, but we're not doing Warped Tour this year or our Canadian tour with Simple Plan. We can't apologize enough to all you guys who were excited to see us, and hopefully we can make it up to you really soon (hopefully first with a really good record). We also can't give enough apologies to everyone involved with Warped Tour and Simple Plan. Thank you so much for understanding. We are still doing the handful of shows with Bon Jovi, so if you're coming out to those, we'll see ya there!
Hey, guys! Thanks to everyone that came out to Bamboozle last week. It was nice to get out of the studio for a minute and remember what the sun looks like. Here's an interview Mike and Chris did with Myspace that day. Good times...
Holy Crap! The Rejects are now part of this crazy modern world! We’ve got our very own online broadcasting channel straight from the studio! What are we gonna do on it? Shit, what aren’t we gonna do? It could get... weird...
But we’re going live whenever the mood strikes us, so sign up and you’ll get an update every time we start the "livecasting" (we’re learning internet speak! we also just learned "favorite" as a verb. who’da thunk it?).
Hey, guys! So it may seem like its been slow goings around the AAR camp, but I swear we've been busy working on this new record in hopes of appeasing you very, very patient people. We're by no means on the home stretch, but rest assured, its coming along.
In the meantime, here are a couple things to check out...
In the newest issue of Alternative Press (#234, with Jack's Mannequin on the cover), we're dubbed one of the "Most Anticipated Albums of 2008." Last time they put us on that list we didn't release a record the next year! Here's to not making it a pattern... Anyway, there's a nice little article and pic of us definitely looking our age...
Apparently we've also made VH1's Top 40 Videos of 2007 countdown. We're pretty stoked on that. We haven't seen it, but they told us we're in the top 20. They also had us sit down and talk about a few of the other videos on the countdown. Our comments ranged from offensive to blasphemous, so we're really curious to see what they use (and whether or not Michael Buble is gonna sue us for libel).
